PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

Cannon Hill Community Links (CHCL) will offer the community a public golf course open to all and a new residential address.

Including a new lifestyle hub with recreational facilities and rejuvenated parkland, the development is set to become an important asset to the local area.

The development and wildlife habitat rehabilitation will be funded by the sale of the residential sites - not from ratepayer contributions.

The proposed development, located on a 125 hectare council owned site, will include:

• An 18 hole public golf course and golf pro shop;
• A cafe restaurant;
• Recreation areas;
• A network of bikeways and walkways; and
• A residential community incorporating between 160 - 180 dwellings.

Brisbane City Council will retain ownership of the site apart from the residential component (only 10% of the total site), which will be sold to home owners.
